Shan is as a Director and leads Pro Forma Advisors business in China. She specializes in attraction economics and real estate analysis. She has conducted market-driven analysis such as market reconnaissance, demand modeling, competitive analysis, and economic master planning to evaluate potential opportunities for a variety of recreation land use types, such as theme parks, waterparks, hotels, resorts, and golf courses.
Shan has worked directly with many of the leading companies in China such as Evergrande Group, Riverside Group, Poly Group, RSun Group, Glory Group, MCC, CREC, and China Merchants Group. Her project experience includes work in a wide variety of markets including, but not limited to, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Chongqing, Guiyang, Wuhan, Kunming, Chengdu, and Sanya.
Shan has a public policy background and began her career at Beacon Economics where she provided quantitative and qualitative economic analysis for clients to make informed decisions about investment, growth, revenue, and policy. She obtained her Master degree at the University of Southern California, and was awarded the Robert P. Biller Award with excellence. She speaks fluent Mandarin and English.
